Samburu Trails Trekking Safaris offer a selection of unique trekking safaris in the Great Rift Valley Mountains of northern Kenya.

Focusing on the remote and beautiful Leroghi Range, we follow ancient game trails through the some of the most unspoiled and spectacular landscapes in Africa - the ancestral homeland of the Samburu and Ndorobo tribes.

On our unique safaris we employ a team of 10 local Samburu warriors and use a convoy of 20-25 donkeys to carry all your luggage, the camp equipment and supplies on our 5, 7 and 9-day trekking safaris.

We welcome all ages and abilities on our safaris – including families or small groups of friends looking to get away from it all. Many of our clients are couples on a romantic holiday or honeymoon – looking for something a little different!

You do need a basic level of fitness, however the walking is relatively gentle on the majority of our trips – we aim to experience this amazing part of Kenya at a leisurely pace.

The landscape is incredible, the people are superb, the camps are spectacular and the food is wonderful - you need only bring with you your sense of adventure!!
